Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, Inc. is a nonprofit national Career and Technical Student Organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and private schools through grade 12.
FCCLA has a national membership of over 161,000 young men and women in over 6,600 chapters. There are 50 state associations including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Since its founding in 1945, FCCLA has involved more than nine million youth. Former members are eligible to become members of Alumni & Associates.
Alabama FCCLA is home to more than 8,500 members from more than 300 chapters. The association was founded on August 2, 1945. FCCLA has been preparing leaders in their families, careers, and communities for more than 70 years.
